Swim around the wooded foreshore of Copperas Bay.  
≈ Find Wrabness Nature Reserve car park off Wheatsheaf Close, Wrabness, Manningtree CO11 2TE (51.939539, 1.151619). Follow the path 1/3 mile to England Coast Path, Essex Way, Stour Estuary. Facing the water, walk right or launch kayak NE, 2 miles around Stone Point and into Copperas Bay.

HAMFORD WATER, WALTON BACKWATERS
The wildest wild camping in Essex.
Find Titchmarsh Marina, Coles Ln, Walton on the Naze, CO14 8SL (51.863389, 1.258550). Pay to launch from the slipway onto the Walton Backwaters. Explore secluded sand beaches around the mouth of Hamford Water. Lots of creeks to explore and get lost in  when the tidal creeks runs out, so much care needed.

COLNE POINT, COLNE ESTUARY
Watch poproises and short-eared owls hunt over shingle and marsh.
Find car park at Beach Rd, Jaywick, St. Osyth. Clacton-on-Sea, CO16 8TB (51.772491, 1.087448). Facing the water walk right/west 2.2 miles along the sea wall towards Colne Point. Best time to see porpoises is on a calm day, flat water June to August when they come in to feed with calves.
